Saturday and Sunday events for the Gulf Regionals will be held at Whirl & Twirl Dance Club in beautiful Orlando, Florida. The venue features a large floated wood floor (the best in town!) that is simply awesome to dance on. It has multiple A/C units to keep you cool in Florida's warm August weather. ...and to top it off, there is a balcony for spectators to watch all the action on the dance floor.
Please note: To keep the floor in new condition, no powdering the floor and no high heels (spiked) are allowed on the dance floor. If you enjoy dancing in heels, we recommend heel protectors.
From Downtown Orlando:
From I4, exit at State Rd. 50 (Colonial Dr.). Head east on 50 until you reach the intersection of 436
(Semoran Blvd.). Take a left onto 436. Follow 436 until you come to the light at Hanging Moss Rd.
Take a right onto Hanging Moss Rd. Follow Hanging Moss until you come to the last road on the right
(Venture Cir.). It will be right before the stop sign at Forsythe. Take a right on Venture Cir. The
road will curve to the right and Whirl & Twirl will be on the right (look for sign).
From Altamonte Springs or Winter Park:
Take 436 (Semoran Blvd.) south past University Blvd. and take a left onto Hanging Moss Rd. Follow Hanging
Moss until you come to the last road on the right (Venture Cir.). It will be right before the stop sign at
Forsythe. Take a right on Venture Cir. The road will curve to the right and Whirl & Twirl will be on the
right (look for sign).
From Daytona:
Take I4 west until 417 branches off in Lake Mary/Sanford. Take 417 (toll road) south and exit at
University Blvd. Take a right onto University Blvd. and follow it until it dead ends into 436 (Semoran).
Take a left onto 436 and follow a short ways until you reach Hanging Moss Rd. Take a left onto Hanging Moss
and follow it until you come to the last road on the right (Venture Cir.). It will be right before the stop
sign at Forsythe. Take a right on Venture Cir. The road will curve to the right and Whirl & Twirl will be
on the right (look for sign).
From Tampa and Dinsey/Attractions Area:
Take I4 east until you reach 408 in downtown Orlando. Take 408 (toll road) east and exit at Lake Underhill/436
(Semoran Blvd.). You will exit onto Lake Underhill, take a left onto 436. Follow 436 until you come
to the light at Hanging Moss Rd. Take a right onto Hanging Moss Rd. Follow Hanging Moss until you
come to the last road on the right (Venture Cir.). It will be right before the stop sign at Forsythe.
Take a right on Venture Cir. The road will curve to the right and Whirl & Twirl will be on the right
(look for sign).
From the Tampa/Disney area you can also get to Whirl & Twirl by taking I4 to downtown and following the directions above for Downtown Orlando.
Note: Do not park in the lot across the street. Please park around the buidling and along the street as overflow.
