Back by popular demand, Natch returns to MC this year's event in addition to spinning tunes. He is a long time DJ in the scene with a long resume and a reputation for keeping the dance floor packed with solid swingin' tunes. Natch believes that organization and familiarization with music and being able to work the crowd make a DJ great, creating the mix on-the-fly rather than using a precompiled playlist. You'll find that Natch's music collection is flaw free, high quality, and properly labeled, not just random mislabeled junk found on the internet. He wrote his own software for categorizing and classifying his music, giving him the ability to dynamically reorganize music in an instant. Natch’s attention to detail and willingness to spend days preparing for an event make him a highly coveted DJ.
Friday & Sat. night guest DJ - Corey Wright - Memphis, TN
Corey started dancing in 1998 in Orlando, during his time in the Navy. Unfortunately, the Navy had other uses for him once his training in Orlando was finished and stationed him in locations that didn't have a swing scene. So even though he had been bitten by the dancing bug, he wasn't able to continue dancing until he was discharged from the Navy. In 2005, in Memphis, TN, he came back into contact with swing dancing through Red Hot Lindy Hop (www. rhlh. org) and has danced off and on since then while living in Memphis, TN; Kansas City, MO; Santa Clara, CA; and once again back in Memphis, TN. At some point during that time .., he started DJing and has been a featured DJ at numerous events including: MOKAN Swing, KCLX, CHEX, Bluesalicious, Poor Man's Blues, StayChi Blues and can be found spinning later this year at Dirt Cheap Blues Exchange, RHLX, and the 2008 Sunstate Jam.

Tamar Rachel has always loved the music that brought her into the world of lindy hop back in 1999. As a vocalist, she appreciates the art in every song she hears, but finds the most pleasure in the sight of a full dance floor. Whether she's singing with a band or playing from her laptop, Tamar aims to please and, with a growing collection of songs and styles, the possibilities seem endless.
You can catch this girl "spinning" just about every Thursday in South Florida at the weekly swing dance or make a request the next time you see her DJ-ing at a regional or national event! Tamar has been lucky enough to DJ at dance venues and parties in Florida (SoFLeX, Blues N' Soul), New York (Jook Joint Blues) and Minnesota and can't wait for Sunstate Jams. It's another great opportunity to get lost in the music she loves.

Chris began dancing a little over three years ago, but he was brought up on (and playing) the music we all love so much. While a late bloomer to the dance floor, he saw people on it from behind a music stand since he started... well... breathing. About a year and a half ago he began DJ-ing at Orlando Blues and has since had the pleasure of playing at Poor Man's Blues in Tampa, Fl, at various house parties throughout the state of Florida and recently (at the end of June) DJed his first big event- Blues n Soul. This will only be his second time DJ-ing an event of this caliber, so be ruthless and break him in right. He can't wait for the event and is thrilled to have the opportunity to share his love of blues with everyone.

J. Wardell has been dancing for 3 years and is a professional dance instructor. He loves all types of dancing and all types of music, but especially Blues music. He has DJed events in Memphis, Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and many house parties. It is always exciting to see what he will pull out of his hat!

Steve Stone has been Dancing in the Orlando scene for over 10 years, and has been sharing his love of music and dancing ever since. Organizing dances and events for over the last 4 years has helped in understanding what dancers want. He dj's a bi weekly late night blues dance as well as Larger events such as "Bluesion", "Blues n Soul Ex", & "Poor Mans Blues". Steve is eager to help keep you on the dance floor for this event.
